Toyota Supra subwoofer build
The client's wish was to have a subwoofer in his car. Lack of space and uneven surfaces made the project quite complicated. The client's request was also that the targa roof had to fit into the car after the installation of the subwoofer. That is why the whole box was cut out by using the CNC bench and quite complicated calculations.
2 x Pioneer 12” were used as speakers and G.A.S Silver Line Series 2 was used as the amplifier. The amplifier turned out to be a bit too powerful, but the speakers can be replaced with more powerful ones any time, if needed.
The box plays 2 x 400 W RMS quality bass, which is enough to make staying in the Supra quite unpleasant. |
Supra spent whole week in the garage.
